This privacy notice for PA’ COMER BAKERY AND SUBS INC, doing business as PA’ COMER CUBAN PIZZA (“Pa’ Comer”, “we”), a Florida corporation with its address at 353 W 23rd St, Hialeah, FL 33010. explains how and why we may collect, store, use and share your information when you order at our shops, use this website or contact us.

If you have any question about this document, write to us before using the site. For anything in this document you can email pacomercubanpizza@gmail.com, attention Elizabeth Borges, or call the shop: Hialeah (786) 431-1029, Miami (786) 637-2481.

Summary of key points

  • We only collect what is needed to handle an order: your name, your phone number and, if you give it, your email.
  • Your card details never reach us. Clover processes them on its own platform; we do not see them or store them.
  • We do not sell your data. What you give us for an order is not shared with anyone for advertising. The only thing that reaches Meta is what you do on the site, through its pixel, and you can turn it off.
  • Below is the exact list of what we use and what we do not. Measurement and advertising run from the moment you arrive, and you can turn them off any time from the cookie notice.
  • You can ask us to delete your data by writing to pacomercubanpizza@gmail.com.

1. What information we collect

What you give us

When you place an order, book catering or call us, we collect the minimum needed to take care of you:

  • Your name.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your email address, only if you choose to give it.
  • The details of your order and its amount.

Payment information

If you pay online, your card details are collected and processed by Clover, our point-of-sale and payment platform. We do not receive them, we do not store them and we have no way of retrieving them. All we see is that the payment went through and for how much.

What is collected automatically

This is a static site and it carries no measurement tools. Even so, like any page on the internet, the server that serves it logs basic technical data — IP address, browser type, time of visit — for security and operations. We do not use it to identify you or to profile you.

2. What we use your information for

We do not use your information for advertising, to build profiles, or to make automated decisions about you.

  • To prepare, charge for and hand over your order.
  • To call you if something goes wrong with it: a dish that ran out, a question about an allergen, a delay.
  • To handle a complaint or a refund.
  • To meet our accounting and tax obligations.
  • To respond to an authority where the law requires it.

3. Who we share your information with

Only with whoever is needed for the order to work:

  • Clover — our point of sale and payment gateway. That is where orders live and where payments are processed.
  • Uber Eats and DoorDash — only if you order through them. In that case they collect your data under their own policies and pass us what we need to make the order.
  • Google Maps — the map on our pages is served by Google, which may receive your IP address simply because it loads.
  • Public authorities — where a law, a court order or a valid request obliges us.

4. We do not sell your data

We have never sold or rented customer data, and we have no intention of doing so. Your order details (name, phone, email) are not shared with anyone for advertising. What the Meta pixel does, unless you turn it off, is tell Meta what you do on this site — for example, that you viewed a dish or added it to your order — to measure our ads and show you ours on Facebook and Instagram. That is targeted advertising, and you can turn it off from the cookie notice.

5. What this site does NOT do today

We say this explicitly because it is unusual and worth making clear. As of today:

  • We measure how many people visit the site, where they come from (a search engine, an ad, a social network), which pages they look at and which buttons they tap, using Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — which keeps anonymous recordings of how the page is used and heatmaps, without what you type into forms. You can turn it off any time in the cookie notice.
  • We use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure our ads and show them to you on those networks. You can turn it off any time in the cookie notice.
  • We do not send promotional email.
  • We do not send text messages (SMS).
  • We have no loyalty programme and no customer accounts.

If this changes

If we turn any of those on in the future, we will update this page before we do. For email and text messages, we will only send them if you expressly opt in, and you will always be able to opt out.

6. How long we keep your information

Order history is kept in Clover for as long as we need it for the accounts and to be able to handle a complaint or a refund. After that, or if you ask us sooner, it is deleted, except for anything tax law requires us to keep.

7. How we protect your information

This site is always served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the order system is limited to the people in the business who need it to work. Payment data never passes through our systems.

Even so, no system is infallible: we cannot absolutely guarantee that a transmission over the internet is secure. If we detected a breach affecting you, we would tell you.

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under 13, please do not send us personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Regarding the information we hold about you, you can ask us for:

  • Access — to tell you what data of yours we hold.
  • Correction — to fix anything that is wrong.
  • Deletion — to delete it.
  • A copy — to hand it over to you.
  • Objection — to stop using it for a specific purpose.

How to exercise them

Write to pacomercubanpizza@gmail.com saying what you want. We may need to check that it is you — usually the phone number or email you ordered with is enough — before giving out information about an order.

We reply within a reasonable time and at no cost. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

If you are not happy with our answer

You can write again asking us to review it and, if you are still not satisfied, file a complaint with the consumer protection authority that applies to you.

10. Florida and other state residents

If you live in Florida or in another state with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights over access, correction, deletion and portability of your data, as well as the right not to have your data sold or used for targeted advertising.

We do not sell data. We do run targeted advertising through the Meta pixel: you can turn it off any time from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of every page, and we honour your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. For the rest, write to the address above and we will handle it like any other request.

11. Do-Not-Track signals

Most browsers let you turn on a “do not track” signal. There is still no standard for how to respond to it, so we do not treat it specifically — but this site does not track you in any case, whether it is on or off.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The date at the top of this page always shows the last revision. If we make a significant change, we will flag it visibly on the site.

13. How to contact us
