Our story.

2015 and still the same two

This story begins…

With the dream of bringing to Miami that little Cuban pizza we knew from Cuba. The same dough, the same flavor and that way of ours of eating it, folded and with our hands.

My mom Gina and I decided to make it real. In 2015 we opened the doors of our first Pa’ Comer location, in Hialeah.

Since then we have grown, adding new dishes to our menu and bringing our food to more people.

Today we have a second location in Westchester, and we stay true to what got us started: homemade Cuban food, family recipes, fresh ingredients and authentic flavor.

And that is how we became that little corner of Cuba in Miami.

Elizabeth Borges CEO, Pa’ Comer

A trip to the Cuba we carry inside.

Our brand was born from memory. From that Cuba of recollections, of childhood, of flavors, of colors, of streets and of nostalgia.

From a little folded pizza. From the windows where food was served. From the hand-painted signs, the small businesses and that way of ours of making a simple meal feel special.

I grew up with those memories. And when we started building Pa’ Comer, I didn’t want it to be simply a Cuban restaurant. I wanted something to remind you of home the moment you walked in.

That is why every color, every photo and every detail you see at Pa’ Comer comes from that Cuba we carry inside.

Because there are things you cannot bring in a suitcase. But you can keep them alive. And that is what we do here.

We keep our flavors, our way of living and everything that makes us feel a little closer to home. Pa’ Comer is our way of sharing that Cuba with the world.

The shop

Day to day at Pa’ Comer

We are not only what you see on the plate. We are really everything that happens behind it.

The people who arrive early, the kitchen starting to move, the orders going out, the team’s laughter, the customers walking in for the first time and the ones we already feel are part of the house.

This is our day to day and our way of showing ourselves to the world.

Because here we don’t just want to show you what we do. We want you to meet our people, to see what happens behind every dish and, in some way, to be part of all this too.

Welcome to our day to day. Welcome to Pa’ Comer.

The menu

The pizza was just the beginning.

We started with a single dish: Cuban pizza. Over time, we grew — and so did our menu.

Today, besides our pizza, we have spaghetti, ice cream shakes and new dishes that have joined our story. And this is just the beginning of everything we keep creating.

This is hands down our favorite Cuban pizza place! We live in Homestead and still drive all the way to Hialeah just to eat here — that’s how good it is. The pizza is always amazing, but the Carbonara pizza is my absolute favorite. The milkshakes are also so good and the perfect addition to the meal. […]

The hype is real. Best Cuban pizza I've ever had. And even on an overall pizza level it's one the best in the area. Definitely also get a milkshake.

Come for the pizza. Stay ’cause you’re home now.

We are a little piece of Cuba in Miami. Through our pizzas, my mom and I managed to bring that piece of Cuba over here. Anyone who tries it can feel it: this is real Cuban pizza.
